‘Captain America: Star of brave new worlds Anthony Mackie said his race did not stop him from getting or performing the main role in Hollywood.

While his character was originally written for a white actor, Mackie said that he convinced Bigelowa to play him in the role, claiming that “the war does not know the race” and that the movie about “Brotherhood is unlike race.”

Mackie said he was looking for roles based on their quality, not the character race.
