He was a four-year starter of Varsity in the high school tennis team and is considered to be “one of the most successful students in the history of the program” after winning the League Championship on April 29, according to the Catholic Jesuit School on social networks.

The Loyol High School Athletics Department on Sunday paid tribute to Levi in a post on social networks.
“We divided the heart of the passage of Loyol High School, Braun Levi,” wrote the School Department of Athletics. “His sympathetic personality, infectious smile and boundless energy made him a beloved member of the Loyol Community. He was a true man for others, and we will miss him pleased. We love you, Braun.”
Braun’s death comes at a time when his parents recently lost their home in the fire of Palisades, forcing them to move to South Bay, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The prayer vigil was held on Sunday night in the memory of Braun.
