Bryan Kohberger’s The defensive team is trying to create “illusion” for future jurors with new efforts to throw certain evidence, said former FBI Special Agent.

Kohberger is charged with first degree murder In the death of four students at the University of Idah, including Kaylee Goncalves, 21; Xana Kernodle, 20; Madison Mogen, 21; and Ethan Chapin, 20. Former student at Washington State University were also charged with a criminal number of burglary.

During the hearing of April 9, Judge Steven Hippler had made several judgments on defense proposals. Hippler partially agreed on the proposal of a veteran who would block prosecutors to use words such as “psychopaths” and “sociopath” during trial.

However, he warned that the defense request was similar to the “order that the state would not commit the offense of the plaintiff”. Hippler said the word “killer” could be used during the final arguments, but the conditions such as “sociopath” and “psychho-” could not be used if the expert assessment did not determine that these words describe Kohberger.

“It is important to understand that [the defense] They are not focused on his guilt or innocence. They are focused on showing or creating an illusion that the prosecution does not have a strong enough case to condemn, “Gilliam said.
