“That wasn’t on CVR (voice recorder),” Homendy said. “We didn’t find any indications of it on CVR, which means they wouldn’t have them. But, again, it’s preliminary.”

ADS-B is an advanced control technology used to monitor the aircraft location. Although Black Hawk had a transponder that appeared on the radar, the ADS-B is significantly more precise.
