Belichick has been under light since the interview was aired last weekend. It was supposed to be an easy interview on his book and the people he mentioned or not mentioned, including his 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson, which is described as Belichick’s “Creative Muse.”
The simple question about how Belichick met Hudson -and was transferred to the legendary NFL coach. Hudson intercepted him and turned off. The moment immediately caused a wide range of surveillance.
Everyone, from relations experts to “Saturday Night Live,” weighed in the incident.
Belichick interrupted his silence On Wednesday, defending his girlfriend and accusing CBS of creating a “false narrative” with a “selectively decorated” clips.

“Unfortunately, this expectation was not honored during the interview. I was surprised when unnecessary topics were presented, and I expressed several times to a journalist, Tony Dokoupil and producers I preferred to keep the conversation focused on the book,” said the coach.
“After this happened several times, Jordon, with which I share both personal and professional relationships, came in to repeat that point to help focus on the discussion. She did not refuse any specific question or topic, but simply did her job to ensure that the interview stays on the road. Some of the clips seem to have avoided the question of how we met.
“The last eight-minute segment does not reflect the productive 35-minute conversation we have run, which has covered a wide range of topics related to my career. Instead, he presents selectively decorated clips and photos from just a few interviews to suggest a false story-Jordon tried to control the conversation-which just is not true.”
CBS later responded with his own statement.

“When we agreed to talk to Mr. Belichick, that was for a wide interview,” the company said. “There were no prerequisites or limitations of this conversation. This was repeatedly confirmed with his publisher before the interview was held and after it was completed.”
