Price, a psychologist with education at Stanford, said she launched Alpha after her daughters came home from school boring and ignorant. The first alpha campus opened in Austin in 2016 after two years of development.

The idea was simple and bold: to compress nuclei academics in two hours a day using technology, and release the students for the rest of the day to grow in other ways.

This model seems to work. Elle Kristine, a junior who has been to Alpha from second grade, shared her experience at Fox & Friends.

“I have a lot of friends in a traditional school,” Kristine said. “They spend all this time in school jobs, they are so stressed and they are just miserable.”

“We do all our academics in just three hours a day, and then we spend the rest of the day doing what we love and work on passion for projects,” she said.

Alpha is currently managing campuses in Austin, Brownsville and Miami, who serves students from pre-ka to high school.
The location of Austin also includes K -8 Academy and submitted high school campus downtown. Alpha’s Brownsville School is growing fastest, and the Miami campus now serves students through 10th grade.

The enrollment is deliberately small, about 150 students in the original place of Austin, allowing a highly personalized experience.

Instead of traditional teachers, Alpha employs guides who focus on training and emotional support, while AI processes an academic lesson.

“Our teachers spend all their time working with our students,” Price said. “This human relationship can never replace AI. But AI allows personalizing learning to everyone.”

With the growth of parents’ results and demand, Alpha now takes on its educational model across the country. The school announced plans to open seven new campuses until the fall of 2025.

In January, President Trump He signed an executive order that directs the education department to help the states of conversion of federal funds for education according to school election programs, including the charter school, private vouchers and education for education savings.
