The Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum visited the new Mexico on Tuesday to announce that the US army would take control of nearly 110,000 hectares of federal land along the border of the US-Mexico, the latest attempt to suppress suppression illegal immigration and trade in people.

Burgum said the change reflects a commitment to the interior of public security, national security and responsible public land management.
