Democrat Angus King III, son of American Sena. Angus King Jr.I-Maine, announced an offer for Maine governor.
“I’m King Angus, and if you know my father, you know my value,” said the Gubernator hope of UA Video of the campaign.
His father had previously served as a state governor from the beginning of 1995 to early 2003 and served in American Senate Since the beginning of 2013.

“Ever since we met in Skowhegan in Skowhegan, I knew that Angus had something special. He was always diligent, smart, engaged and caring, and I’m so proud of who was today and the job he intended to do,” said Senator King, according to the Angus King III, who recorded that he was born in Skowhegan.
“He is a builder and optimist who knows Maine and does not give up until the job is done. He built things to take care of people and make the world a better place during his life, and I think his combination of smart, experience and character will make the excellent Maine governor.

The current Government of Maine Janet Mills, a Democrat who currently withstanding his second consecutive term, may no longer start in 2026.
AND Maine Constitution Spirulates: “A person who served two consecutive popular election four -year duties as a governor cannot be acceptable to inherit himself.”

Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellows announced the Gubernator offer earlier this year and also runs as a Democrat.
