Americans react to Trump’s first week

If President Trump started off on the streets, his first week in office was no different.

He was sworn in as the 47th President of the United States on Monday before signing President Joeden’s executive order and following through on many of his campaign promises.

We spoke to 10 Americans across the political spectrum about how they view the week.

Here are their main strategies.

Not everyone we talked to watched the event, but they all had an opinion on the uneventful day that saw him traditional seasonsit’s happening and more people are moving in.

Kyle pisha, 39, an independent who voted for Trump: “I just felt like I was watching a fight. It’s just simple, the shows, playing for Donald Trump’s cameras. You can tell that entertainment is a big part of the tapes of Donald Trump or Joeck Obama or Joe A biden settled.”

Greg Bruno, 67, a Republican who voted for Trump: “I think Trump proved he’s a man of the people when he threw that pen into the audience after lighting up 20,000 people. It just showed you who he’s working for.”

Richard Toil, 74, an independent who voted for Kamala Harris: “[His inaugural address] it wasn’t as dark as his first words [in 2017]but it was painful. There was nothing that said good things about America. “

Angela Ramos, 37, an independent outsider who voted for Harris: “I found that many of Trump’s words are understandable, because he mentioned things like justice, respect, trustworthiness, reliability that I thought showed the ideas of religious services.”

In his first week, Trump signed a series of documents that were widely documented – including financial – and small, such as redaction of files related to the President of John F Kennedy. You can catch it here.

Lists of Larry, 47, a Republican who voted for Trump: “I was happy [with the executive orders]. There were many of them. I couldn’t follow. He is clearly not a regular politician – with most politicians, you hear one thing and he will do it. “

Tony BoyKlin, 69, a Republican who voted for Trump: “You can expect performances from him that will be different from what you will be different from what you like going in.

Greg Bruno, Republican: “This is why he was elected. Most of these orders include issues that Americans want to see. These are promises that have been kept.”

Voters who lose their votes Kamah Harris said they do not like many of Trump’s decisions, especially on the climate, health and his decision to pardon the crimes found in the January 6 Capiol riots. Some ask who will shape Trump’s future actions.

Carlyn jOrgfensen, 40, an independent who voted for Harris: “I didn’t like that the front line was so high [Jeff] Bezos ahead. That, to me, I just feel like – are we heading towards an oligarchy at this point? “

Angela Ramos, independent: “The most emotional for me is going to the Paris season and because of the whole world, because what we do has physical consequences, not just for the whole world.”

David Agona, 58, a Democrat who voted for Harris: “I felt like it was his money the way he did this by treating him with the pardon and the plea for the January 6th sentences. I feel like he’s sending the wrong message to the American people.”

Supporters and opponents alike said they felt that President Limp was speaking too briefly.

Greg Bruno, Republican: “He entered his first leadership under attack … You put someone in hiding when you’re under attack like that. The leadership doesn’t have it. He’s coming in as someone who knows very well how to use the power of leadership.”

Shantonu Mazumdar, 58, a Democrat who voted for Harris: “I think he woke up a little bit, a very difficult line, you feel like. He, I think, gives him a little bit of power with people who have helped him a little bit. Go further than before.”

Richard Toil, independent: “I think he was very direct. I think he’s angry, he has revenge… But I think he’s changed and he’s changed to be changed.”

Tony Bocklin, Republican: “I’m glad he’s following through on his promises. Sometimes his methods are small tools. It’s not just how he likes things.”
