Ovechkin entered the game that took two to bind, and three to become the new King of the Goling Class. He burned the lamp for only four minutes in a game against Chicago Blackhawks.

Ovechkin seemed to slow down a little last season, scoring 31 goals in 79 games. Maybe he got some juice, knowing he could knock down a record this season.
While Ovechkin breaks records, the capital are candidates for Stanley Cup. Their 105 points took second place in NHL.
