ESPN Basketball Analyst Chinese Ogwumike apologized for the remarks she gave at the beginning of the WNBA investigation by alleged hatred for Chicago Sky Players during the game against fever in Indiana.
Ogwumike said “get up” two days after the alleged incident that “if you are truly a basketball fan, you would realize and agree that we have no room for these types of comments.”

While Associated Press reported that WNBA explores alleged racial germs according to Angel ReeseThe league said on Tuesday that he was unable to substantiate those claims.
Ogwumike addressed her previous comments about the situation.

“I’m sorry my message was in the moment, because when I was talking about this topic at first, it really came from the place of care. It was based on first -hand talks with people very closely a situation that caused real concerns and told me what they experienced. I felt like it was important and needed to admit these recordings and also express these experiences.
“Now, however, I fully recognized that he might have influenced fans the way I didn’t intend. I’m sorry.”

Ogwumike added that she was happy that the league took the investigation seriously. She said the league is still growing, “growing with it.”
