Shakur Stevenson believes she is “a stronger fighter than Floyd Schofield after sparring with him last time out. WBC lightweight champion Shakur’s KO rate is 45.5%.”
Stevenson (22-0, 10 KOs) says he’s had hand problems throughout his career, which has limited his ability to land his punches. His glass hand It’s still a problem because he recently had hand surgery.
In the video Posted by Shakur who was working, he did not use his right hand. It’s the one that had the operation. If Stevenson’s arm breaks against Schofield, he will be helpless and unable to fight him. He can’t roll to victory like he did against Edwin de Los Santos and count on the judges to give him the win because he’s the side.
“The only thing that makes him a threat is his clumsy style. His offspring rhythm, jump in and just have to be ready for it. But truthfully, I’m levels about his kid. So I’m going to show it,” said Shakur Stevenson to Shawn Porter channelHe’s talking about Floyd Schofield.
“I think it’s a misconception,” Shakur said when asked why fighters think they can beat him after sleeping with him. “He didn’t see anything when he was in the ring. He didn’t come out of the ring and be like, ‘I think I can beat him because he came out of the ring and said I’m the greatest fighter ever in the ring.’
If Shakur isn’t throwing power because of fragile hands, it’s understandable why his sparring partners believe they can beat him. If Schofield is going by what went down with his sparring with Shakur, it’s understandable why he feels he can beat him. It is a logical conclusion that anyone would reach after training with a fighter who favors a fragile arm, injury.
“DM told me and said:” Bro, you’re better than anyone I’ve ever seen. “He remembered how the sparring went,” Shakur said of his sparring with Schofield. “He remembered what happened, but I think the fighters in this day and age must be delusional. I think he’s a delusional little kid and his father is delusional. They tell themselves they’ve overlapped, but I read between the lines.”
If Shakur can’t sit down because of a problem, how can he call the Austin kid “delusional” into believing he can beat him. It makes sense that he thinks he can beat the non-exuberant.
“I feel like I’m stronger than him. I don’t feel like he’s stronger than me. I think people confuse me with having problems with problems during my career. I think it’s true, I’m a stronger fighter than he is” , Shakur Stevenson said.
Shakur sounds delusional here, saying he thinks he’s “stronger” than Schofield, because all you have to do is watch his past fights on YouTube and you can tell that kid Austin is a lot bigger.
