The political drama that takes place in America is a story about missed capabilities, and Democrats are the main characters who fight to find their basis. As Trump’s polls are failing, many wonder why Dems does not take advantage of the moment.

Well, that is not surprising to me. ABC News-Washington Post-Ipsos Survey last month showed that 69% of people believe Democratic party Not in contact with most people’s concerns. Why? Because instead of focusing on the concern of people, they stuck in the same tired routine: showing their fingers, emphasizing Trump’s mistakes and deciphering chaos and threats to democracy. This strategy is basically wrong.

Recent events emphasize this interruption of the relationship. Chaos in custody in New Jersey He emphasizes the current immigration crisis, but Democrats are struggling to present a cohesive alternative. They could focus on pragmatic reforms, such as simplifying the asylum process, increasing the safety of the boundary with technology, not walls and the creation of paths to citizenship for the unfathomable immigrants contributing to society.

Meanwhile, internal conflicts within a party, like a fighting around David Hogga’s future Inside DNC, they discover the lack of a combined vision. Instead of gathering around fresh votes and ideas, the party seems to be implanted in internal disputes, further alienating potential supporters.

Democratic voters hit their own party as “incompetent” and “useless” in an interview in the NY Times opinion

And that says nothing about the alleged concealment of former president Joe Biden’s Frail Health pointed out in the new book by Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson, “The Original Son” and questions arising from his recent diagnosis of tragic prostate cancer. All this adds another layer of complexity. Instead of addressing these problems with transparency and continuity plan, the party seems to be lagging behind this issue, leaving voters more questions than answers.

All this leads to a major problem with confidence for Democrats. Can they be trusted to tell the truth? Can it be trusted that they will solve our biggest problems? The answer is in the eyes with Fox News’ the latest survey Where Democrats reached their lowest favorable rating ever, and only 41% looked positive.

Currents of President Trump’s APPLICATION APPLICATION SUPPORT, but the numbers of democrats surveys that affect new lowest

The fall of positivity to democrats comes from within. Last summer, 87% of self -initiated Democrats approved its party, but that is now at 77%. In the meantime, the Republican Party has recorded a slight improvement among their party believers, and 85% of self -Identicated Republicans have a favorable view. The data painted a very clear picture of the influence of the wrong steps of Democrats.

The conquest of the heart and mind requires positive sending messages, not just shouting about how bad Donald Trump is.

In 2017-2018, Democrats dealt with much better. They had a clear narrative approaching Midterms: Trump’s failure in his first term who provided health care was a tangible problem that they could use. They promised to repair what was broken – collecting plans such as expanding the law on favorable care and reducing the price of prescription drugs. But now, instead of offering solutions, they are fixed Donald Trump Chaos and “evil”. Question? Voters crave more than a villain; They want a solution.

Consider the economy. While Democrats criticize Trump trade wars and reduction of taxes for the rich, they often fail to articulate a clear economic vision. Instead of just opposed tariffs, they could suggest comprehensive trade policies who protect American jobs while stimulating global cooperation. Highlighting plans for investment investment or green energy business, although it does not attract those on the right, could provide many to a positive plan forward.

Their rhetoric often spirals in the extreme – by harmonizing Trump to Hitler or marking their supporters as Nazis. Although this can stimulate the base, it risks alienation of moderate and hesitant voters, or even everyday Americans who long for practical solutions because of apocalyptic rhetoric. Combining the opponent as Boogeyman, they risk excluding the wider electorate.

The bottom line is that Democrats should turn from reactive, negative strategy to proactive, solutions aimed at a solution if they want to win. They should focus on real policies – health reform, economic growth, immigration reform, tariffs– With clear plans to resolve these questions. The conquest of the heart and mind requires positive sending messages, not just shouting how bad Trump is. Otherwise, he will continue to break through, running against an opponent who defeated the narrative game and controlled the conversation through chaos.

In order to truly connect with voters, Democrats must offer a vision that echoes with their daily lives. By doing this, they could be transformed from the party’s opposition party to a solution party, but it doesn’t seem like anyone is ready to approach a plate to do so.
