The United States will move forward with a plan to hit Canada, Mexico and China with new tariffs, the White House has increased the risk of a trade war.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Levit told reporters on Friday that Washington would hit 20 percent tariff in Canada and Mexico and China with a 5 percent tariff.
“The February deadline that President Trump had set up in a statement several weeks ago continued,” Liveit said.
Comments after Friday reports that Donald Trump’s promised tariffs may be delayed within a month.
Livet said that these national reports were “false”, adding, “they were promised and promised by the President,” he said.
The US -dollar index, which spread its profits after the preliminary report of the deadline on March 1, has become 0.5 percent higher that day. Mexican Peso and Canadian dollars have dropped to the negative region, erasing the previous profits.
