Unilever Chief Financial Officer Fernando Fernandez replaced Chief Executive Heine Schumacher, as the consumer consumer product group continued to restore his fortune.
Unilever said on Tuesday that the party’s leading siege from July 2021 would resign by “mutual agreement” on March 7. Fernandez was the chief financial officer early last year.
Sudden change comes when Unilever faces increasingly pressure to improve its unnecessary performance. In the middle of the group Reconstructing Started by slamming, including cutting 7,500 jobs and reducing its ice cream business.
Unilever Chairman Ian Macins says: “I would like to thank Heine for reseting Unilever’s strategy, the focus and discipline he has come to this organization and for financial progress in 2021.”
Determining Fernandez’s appointment, Mecins said: “The Board is fascinated by Fernando’s decision-making and result-based approach and ability to change speed.”
