Bangladesh’s Anti -Corruption Authority has been accused of using a fake notary document to transfer his sister to former UK minister Tulip Siddique as part of the investigation of the illegal allocation of state -owned land.
The Anti-Corruption Commission of Bangladesh has claimed that former Prime Minister of the country Sheikh Hasina’s nephew of Sheikh Hasina used the political influence to protect her and her family in the Purbakal New Town Project, benefited from the illegal allocation of state-owned land.
According to a charge document published by the agency on Thursday, the agency also alleged that a fake notary used to transfer a separate flat to his sister.
The ACC will now submit his complaint against Siddique to the court, which must be approved before bringing the case to the prosecution, which is widely considered as a formality.
