President Donald Trump says he is planning to sign an executive order to cut prescription prices prescribed that the US pays the lowest price in the world.
He told a post on social media that he signed the order at 9 am on Monday, time in Washington. He predicted pharmaceutical prices to fall by 30% to 80%.
