Almost a decade after the United Kingdom (UK) voted the abandonment of the European Union (EU) under Brexit and in the midst of transferring relations with the US under the President Donald TrumpBritain and the EU significantly strengthened their trade and defense partnership on Monday.

While the UK spoke earlier this month with 25% reciprocal “Trump administration tariffs to limit fees to 10% at up to 100,000 car exports to the United States – the main export of the UK to the state – the EU did not reach such an agreement with Washington and face 20% of tariffs on all American exports coming in July.
While the EU and US officials are still working on finding an agreement, reports on Monday suggested that even the existing 10% of tariffs hit the EU in the last 50 days, left a negative trace, and Bloc predicts growth fall for 2025.
However, not only Trump’s tariffs pushed Western allies to strengthen relations after his re -entry into the White House.

Trump’s hard impetus for increased consumption for NATO’s defense, along with his sharp interruption from Biden’s administration to Ukrainian assistance, left European allies who broke through after his inauguration.

“Britain returns to the world stage,” Starmer said. “This job is a gain.”
The ultimate right conservatives in the UK, such as Nigel Farage, a fervent proponent of Brexit, condemned the recently announced agreement.
The White House did not immediately answer Fox News Digital questions.
