Top Chinese general removed in latest Xi Jinping purge

President Xi Jinping has purified the number two generals in the People’s Liberation Army in the first firing of a general in that role in his military corruption campaign and in the six decades.

Neil Thomas, an elite Chinese politics expert at the Asia Society Policy Institute, said that he would be the first Wedong in the CMC uniform vice-chairman after Long Long in 96767.

For the past two years, the Shi PLA has removed the two heads of the Rocket Force, which is partially responsible for the Chinese nuclear arsenal.

Shi has also purified two Chinese Defense Minister Waye Fenghe and Lee Shangfu in the last two years. The Defense Minister plays diplomatic role in the Chinese system and is less powerful than the military leaders of the CMC. Shyo dismissed the former close associate Kin Gang as Foreign Minister.

Financial Times reported last year Dong Jun was also dismissed As the Minister of Defense. However, two people, who were familiar with his case, said he had done a preliminary investigation but he seemed to be clear. This week, Dong met with the chief of the Pakistani Air Force in Beijing.
