Texas man was executed on Tuesday night 13 brutally killing his beloved grandmother When he lit her at the gas station.

“First of all, I would like to give all the praise to God. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be here on this earth. Johnson apologized to his wife and children and admitted that his injustice was, saying, “I made the wrong decisions, I made the wrong decisions, and now I pay the consequences.”

He addressed his prisoners of his colleagues, saying to them, “I love you man, continue on. Jesus is the way brothers, he is the only way.”

Johnson was 36 at the time of the deadly attack.

The fatal attack occurred exactly 13 years ago, May 20, 2012, the court documents, acquired by Associated Press, show that Johnson entered the store where Harris worked with a bottle of lighter liquid and a cigarette lighter.

The Texas Department of Criminal Justice said that Johnson then went behind the counter and stole cigarettes, lighters and cash from the register before throwing a lighter liquid on Harris and lit it before leaving the store.

He was arrested almost an hour after the attack, according to court documents received by Associated Press.

Officials said Harris, who worked at the gas station for more than 10 years, died five days after the attack, but managed to describe Johnson to the police before her death.

At his trial in 2013, AP reported that Johnson admitted that he had set fire to Harris, expressing his remorse and calling himself a “lowest stain of earth.”

“I hurt the innocent woman. I took the life of a human being. I was the cause of that. There was no my intention – kill her or hurt her, but I did,” Johnson said.

During his sentence, Johnson testified that he was under the influence of drugs and alcohol During the robbery, Claiming that the lighter liquid had to be scared of Harris and had no intention of killing her.

Johnson tried to regret the death penalty, but his attempts failed.

Johnson’s execution will mark the fourth country this year and will bring the total number of executions to the United States until 18 this year.
