– All about audio. In this year’s fortune 500, there is Nine new companies Led by women. As discussed in Yesterday’s newsletterMost companies involve the ranks of women led by 500 businesses after developing women from above an exception (different from).

Siriusxm is part of Fortune 500 for the first time after suction from Liberty Media On September 2024. That added Siriusxm CEO Jennifer Witz to the cohort of Fortune 500 principals; Like his fellow women’s cases, emphasizing him at work in 2021 after two decades of the company (began if it was just Sirius).

I choose the status of $ 8.7 billion company today in a part published in the latest issue of wealth. The Company is quietly much more interesting than it seems at first glance-it involves everything from radio and talent management, to satellite launches into space, negotiations with auto manufacturers, and even a small business line offering boaters fishing and weather info. The company is a revolutionary if it is accompanied by early 2000s, promised uninterrupted radio services without FCC regulations. But it is easily launched during streaming; Satellite technology does not provide data to listeners, made it close – impossible to keep algorithmic personalized recommendations.

Under Witz, SiriusXM grows podcasting business, with advertising today that makes 20% of the income of subscriptions by 80%; It managed to advertise for two-thirds of all the Podcasts of US stars such as Cooper Alex Cooper and Crime JunkieAshley flowers Drawing headlines.

But it is against some tight long-term trends, from the quarterly subscribers losses, to an elderly user base, even the rising passengers of one’s own passengers in a video view.

Witz holds the car siriusxm back, where it is strong – and there are eyes in the living room as a place where SiriusXM can grow. Read more about the new Fortune 500 firm, its CEO, and the challenges ahead of my part story here.
