Russian and Ukrainian delegations began talks on Monday in Istanbul, Turkey, less than 24 hours after massive Ukrainian drone attack hit the Russian airport.
Two delegations entered the Ciragan Palace in Istanbul along with a group of high Turkish officials. It is the second round of peace negotiations that took place in three years since Russia attacked Ukraine.
Event pictures show many Ukrainian delegations that carry military uniforms, while the Russian group exclusively wore suits.
The details of the meeting are not expected to be published only after its conclusion. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russian President Vladimir Putin, however, will not meet face to face.

Ukrainian forces Destroyed 40 aircraft in an attack of drones this weekend, which the official says it took more than a year to orchestrate. The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the attack on Sunday, saying it hit five airports.

Moscow has Previously used bombers Tupolev Tu-95 and Tu-22 to launch rockets in Ukraine, while the A-50 are used to coordinate goals and discovering air defense and guided rockets.
A series of explosions also hit bridges in Russia near the Ukraine border on Saturday, although Ukraine did not take responsibility for attacks.

The motorway bridge through the Railway in the Bryansk region was blowing at 10:50 pm on Saturday night, just like a passenger train transporting 388 passengers to Moscow passed below, Russian investigators said.
