Polish officials ordered the closure of the Russian consulate in Krakow on Monday after the investigation concluded that it Moscow was responsible for wit 2024, which destroyed the shopping center in Warsaw.
Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs Radek Sikorski announced the closure on Monday, and he also noted it during the United Kingdom visit, followed by a one -year flame investigation that destroyed the shopping mall with about 1,400 stores last year.
“This was a huge fire of a shopping mall in Warsaw, in which, in a pure happiness, no one was injured. This is completely unacceptable,” Sikorski said. “So, the Russian consulate will have to leave, and if these attacks are continued, we will take further actions.”
Russian officials denied injustice and condemned the decision of Poland in printing statements.

“Warsaw continues intentionally destroying relations and acts against the interests of its citizens,” said Ministry of Ministry, Maria Zakharov, according to Russian media.

The incident only comes a few days before Russian President Vladimir Putin must meet face to face with Ukrainian President Vodimir Zelenskyy in Turkey on Thursday. Putin initially suggested a meeting on Thursday this weekend and president Donald Trump encouraged Zelenskyy to accept the offer. Putin said that conversations in Istanbul must be held without prerequisites for the purpose of lasting peace.
