New York Yankees The Oswaldo Cabrera service man suffered a grotesque injury in the team of team 11-5 over the Seattle Mariners on Monday.
Cabrera, 26, posted a cordial message on social networks on Thursday night about how grateful he was for the support he received.

When I woke up, one of the first things I did I grabbed my phone. I didn’t have hundreds, thousands of my family, fans, agents, coaches,” Cabrera published on Instagram.

In his post, Cabrera said he was undergoing a successful surgery on an injured ankle. Cabrera said the pouring of the support he received from the injury was something he and his family would never forget.

In a separate post, Cabrera shouted some teammates who came and visited him to the hospital overnight.

Cabrera tried to avoid Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh’s tag, and as he stopped to try to touch the home plate as he slowed down, his ankle scored under him and was suffering.
