From what we all see on social media, Pop-tart bowl it’s full of hilarious content.
But it appears there was an incident during Saturday’s game between the two Miami Hurricanes that led to blows.
Senior Simeon Barrow Jr. and freshman Marquise Lightfoot were separated after Barrow Jr. punched, and Lightfoot shoved Barrow.

The Hurricanes didn’t want to play on Saturday. They controlled their own destiny en route to the College Football Playoff, but after a loss to Syracuse in the final week of the season, they were eliminated from the ACC title game, and eventually the tournament.
The meltdown came after a high-scoring first quarter in which the Hurricanes allowed 21 points to Iowa State. Cyclones he won the game 42-41.
Cam Ward, a likely first-round pick in the NFL draft, played only in the first half, exiting the game after Miami regained a 31-28 lead before halftime.

After the game, there was a “toast” to the Pop-Tarts mascot, and the Cyclones received a toaster trophy.
It’s the first time the Cyclones have won 11 games in a season.
Game MVP Rocco Becht ran from a yard out on fourth down and scored with 56 seconds left for the game-winning touchdown.

Becht finished with 270 passing yards and three touchdowns for Iowa State (11-2), a program that entered the season having never won more than nine games in a season.
