The crew members hung on to the High Ship of the Mexican Navy that crashed on Brooklyn Bridge On Saturday night, video shots are displayed.
Two sailors were killed and nearly 20 others were injured when the Cuauhtémoc ship hit the bridge around 8:30 pm on Saturday night. All those injured were on board and none of 277 people on board fell into the water.
“Nobody fell into the water, everyone was hurt inside the ship,” NYPD officer said, according to the WCBS. “The ship, from what the supervisors informed me, disembarked and went to Iceland.”
Video collisions on Brooklyn’s side East River shows 150 feet high Mexican naval ship Three masts shot after the bridge was hit. Officials said early indications suggest that the mechanical question may have caused the ship to turn on the track and collide with the bridge, but the incident remains under investigation.

The shots also show sailors hanging from rope on damaged masts, but none of them fell into the water.
“We saw someone hanging out, and I couldn’t say if it was just clouded or eyes, and we managed to zoom on their phone and there someone hung from the top for at least 15 minutes before he could save them,” an eyewitness Lily Katz told The Associated Press.
The second witness, Nick Corso, had a phone to catch the background of the ship and the sunlight bridge when he heard what sounded like a loud cracking of a “big twig”.

The people around Corsa started running and “Pandemonium” followed on board, he said. He later noticed a handful of people hanging from the mast.
“I didn’t know what to think, I was, was this a movie?” he said.
The bridge did not suffer any damage from the collision.
“We pray for everyone on board and their families and we are grateful to our first answers that quickly jumped into action, ensuring that this accident is not much worse,” Adams said at a press conference on Saturday night.
