Memorial Day 2025 deals: Best freebies and discounts for veterans

America is primarily saying to thank those who serve in the military and honor those who make the most real sacrifice. And many businesses do this by offering additional discounts and freebies in active military and veteran duty.

To take advantage of these deals, you probably need your military ID. So keep that available. Here are some of the most importantly displayed special offers.

Walgreens

From May 24-27, Veterans, military members and their families can obtain 20% discount on qualified items at regular price of Walgreens or Duane Reade stores.

Columbia Sportswear

While the retailer offers selling prices of all, military personnel (and first responders) can get an additional 20% from May 16th.

Virginia’s Virginia Theme Parts offers free claim to active and retired military. Dependents receive tickets up to six people on a 50% discount.
