Max Homa is among a few big names that do not fulfill your exemptions for 2025 US Open In Oakmont, on Monday, he left his oak fate to the qualifiers in Ohi.
Called “Golf’s longest day,” Homa was one of the many golfers, including Rickie Fowler, Cameron Young, Bud Cauley, Jake Knapp, Padraig Harrington and Adam Hadwin who tried to qualify for Oakmont at 10 different locations across the country.
The Golf and Fitness Club Kinsale was home to six qualifying sites, and the golfers were on two rounds on Monday. But on his 36 hole, three-putt put homa in the playoffs with five people, along with Fowler, Young, Eric Cole and Chase Johnson. Young grabbed the last place with a bird on a hole 38.

But Homa was lonely throughout the day, because he and his two -month caddy, Bill Harka, were no longer together, according to a person informed of a cleft that said only Harke “lost his job.”
So Homa wore her own bag for all 38 holes.
“I’d rather talk about Golf instead of all the issues about Caddy,” Homa said. “I’m good. I just dug it 36.”
But obviously, he didn’t seem to bother him.

“It seems better than when someone stands beside me for some reason,” he said. “Maybe I will need to walk more. Maybe I just looked at it as a beautiful, peaceful walk. He probably had to fight some demons and there is no one to whom there is nothing to do.
As for Golf?
“It will probably be heartily, but everything is fine,” Homa said. “I haven’t worn 36 holes for a while, so I’m a little tired.”
Homa is not completely out of the US Open. The Canadian Open is playing this week, although he will probably have to win to enter the Top 60 and qualify.

In a somewhat ironic way, Fowler qualified for this year’s Open Championship with a Top 10 end on a memorial on Sunday.
