The driver, 28-year-old Kai Deberry-Bostick, was also criminally charged after “reckless” barrier offenses and driving a busy road at the Main Street Festival in Laurel, Maryland, according to the Laurel police.
The footage of the Police Bodies Camera Shows Deberry-Bostick sitting in his car, thinking about going through the street closed down. The cop apologizes for the inconvenience and offers her to order her a taxi.

“There must be another way,” she says. “I don’t take a taxi to the end in Virginia. I work in Virginia. “
Deberry-Bostick then comes out of his car and approaches where the officer stands. “I have to go to work!” He says. “What do you want me to do?”
The cop warns not to interfere with the area, to which she replies, “Maybe I should.”
The Deberry-Bostick continues with the Waste of Ribbon with caution from a barrier that blocks the road and returns to its car. He starts driving right in an officer trying to block her to enter the festival.
“Stop! Stop your car,” the officer yells.

The festival’s parade was canceled due to an explosion of propan while the sellers were set up. One person was injured in an explosion and sent to the hospital, said Mayor Laurel Keith R. Sydnor at a press conference. (X / @cityoflaurel)
