“The animal was not even out of its safe imprisonment,” wrote Robert Slata, owner of a 5 -star company, wrote on Facebook. “At this point, we are looking for the respect and support of the family.”

The investigation is currently underway and an autopsy has been ordered, according to Police Horry County.
“There are a number of other animals at the site of the incident,” said Horry County Police in a Facebook post. “All animals count and contain, and there is no risk for the community.”
