The London Fire Brigade sent firefighters to a huge shining on an electric substation near Heathrow at the end of Thursday.
“This is a very visible and significant event, and our firefighters are working tirelessly in the challenging situation to bring control as quickly as possible,” Assistant London Fire Brigade Commissioner Pat Golburn said.
“It would be a prolonged event, the disruption is expected to increase when we were going in the morning as the crew remained in the scene, and we request people to avoid the area wherever possible.”
The fire service says a 200 meter of Cordon has been established in the region and about one and a half people have been removed.
The fire brigade added that the cause of the fire was not known.
