Lift-off for Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin rocket

Jeff Bezos’ company Blue Origin has successfully launched a rocket into orbit for the first time.

The reusable rocket, New Glenn, was due to lift off earlier this week, but was canceled following a “motor problem”.

The mission was partially successful after the booster that drove the rocket into space failed to reach the platform in the ocean.

However, it is still a big step for Jeff Bezos and his company that has been for many years to send a rocket into orbit.
