The vegas The police department is investigating a vehicle fire that occurred this morning in front of the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas, which appears to have been a Tesla Cybertruck.
According to a post by the police department on social networks, the fire on the vehicle took place at the entrance to the hotel.
The police said the fire was extinguished and the public was urged to avoid the area.
In another post on X, President-elect Trump’s son, Eric Trump, released a statement about the incident.

A Tesla Cybertruck reportedly caught fire outside Trump Tower in Las Vegas on Wednesday.
“Earlier today, an electric was reported there was a vehicle fire in the Trump Las Vegas porte cochère,” Eric wrote. “The safety and well-being of our guests and staff remains our top priority. Our heartfelt thanks to the Las Vegas Fire Department and local police for their quick response and professionalism.”
Police did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for more information.

FOX 5 in Las Vegas reported that smoke could be seen coming from the tower in video obtained by the outlet. The station also reported that it obtained surveillance video that suggests the fireworks may have been inside the vehicle, which was a Tesla Cybertruck.
