Ana Kasparian of “The Young Turks” fired her co-host when he suggested that Vice President Kamala Harris could be the next governor of California, whether anyone likes it or not.
While some liberals continue to mourn President-elect Donald Trump’s victory over Harris, others debate the vice president’s political future. Lindy Li’s DNC Fundraiser ridiculed “delusions” Harris “running for governor of California, possibly in 2026,” but others speculated that it could be possible.
“I mean Kamala Harris he would probably win an easy race for governor,” “Young Turks” co-host Cenk Uygur asserted Thursday.
HARRIS PAID OPRAH MILLION DOLLARS IN FAILED CAMPAIGN BID: REPORT
“The Young Turks” co-host Ana Kasparian expressed fear at the idea that California could have Vice President Kamala Harris as its next governor. (Young Turks)
“No! No!” Kasparian shouted her co-host. “What are you doing? What are you doing?”
“I’m telling you the truth, whether you like it or not,” Uygur replied. “Democratic voters in California love to obey.”
“I’m moving, Cenk! I’m quitting,” Kasparian said. “I’m going to quit my job and move.”
“I’m not saying I’m in favor of that,” Uygur replied. “I’m telling you, if they, the Democratic Party, said, ‘We’re helping Kamala Harris,’ a huge percentage of Democrats in California would say, ‘Yes! We obey. We’ll take the loyalty oath. It doesn’t matter how bad she is!’ “

“This country cannot survive another incompetent Democrat leading it,” Kasparian said. “No, we just can’t.”
“So, like, people are encouraging her, OK? She’s obviously, like, in a wait-and-see mode,” Kasparian said.
Kasparian then looked into the camera, as if speaking directly to Harris.
“How about you wait and see your way out of public life? And go do what you’re supposed to. Go work in the private sector. Go lobby—whatever that is. But don’t run away as governor of California, don’t!”
