An international airport and a power plant in Yemen were among the targets of a series of military strikes launched by Israel on Thursday.
Three people died and more than a dozen were injured in the protests, according to Houthi-run media.
Images from the airport in the capital Sannaa show chaos inside the terminal as passengers flee, while the air traffic control tower is damaged.
While in the port city of Hodeida, a power station was hit and caused a huge fire.
The Iran-backed Houthi rebels have described the attacks as “barbaric”.
In a statement, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said that “its warplanes carried out attacks using the weapons of the Houthi terrorist regime on the west coast and in the interior of Yemen”.
