Ice agents seized a knife of a “violent” Venecuela migrant with possible bands during a tense arrest in San Diego recorded on the video, and on Saturday it was released by federal officials.
Us immigration and customs implementation (Ice) shared a video on X, displaying agents that attached the suspect to the ground outside of what seems to be a residential building during surgery on May 29.

The arrest was one of eight on that day, part of the target operation supported by federal partners in San Diego. Ice says that one of those who were taken into custody is a confirmed member of the abuser Venecuelan gang of Aragua (TDA).
It is not clear if the man is a member of the gang in the video.

While the suspect can be seen resisting the arrest, it does not seem to be setting up with a knife, but officials quickly find it and provide it during removal.
