One of the arrests involves an illegal migrant convicted of seeking to commit murder. On May 5, 2025, Ice arrested Kleber Lassa illegal foreigner from Ecuador. July 24, 2018 Lasso was convicted of seeking murder and sentenced to just one year in prison. Brockton District Court failed to honor Ice’s detainee and released this criminal on Massachusetts Street, DHS states.
Brockton Court did not have a comment on Fox News on Friday.
“Massachusetts court officials do not have legal authority and therefore they are forbidden to hold an individual in custody solely on the basis of federal custody for civil immigration,” a spokesman for Massachusetts told Fox News.
“In order to comply with the Massachusetts Law, it is forbidden for court servants to assist or interfere with Ice agents to execute their obligations under the Federal Law,” a spokesman said. “This means that a court clerk will not interfere with the arrest of the ICE who has been released.

Ice placed an immigration detention with a prison on Nashu Street. Local authorities did not honor custody and let Dufrena. He is charged with later victims of more innocent Americans – including a pregnant woman. He was then arrested again on February 19, 2025, and was charged with attack and battery on pregnant victim, attack and battery on family/household, attack and battery.

According to DHS, on May 10, 2025, Ice was arrested by Lusbel Lopez Feliz, an illegal stranger from the Dominican Republic. Lopez faced several criminal charges in Massachusetts, including seven charges of distributing heroin/fentanila and five different complaints for cocaine distribution. Her custody did not honor local authorities after the previous arrest, and she was released into the community.
