“This game is mental,” Stal said. “I mean, everything is in the brain and your focus and the thoughts I can crawl. It must be thoughts we’ve been thinking all year long, which is to play our game and focus on our shifts and our battles and do what we do.

“When you release such thoughts, it never looks good. I think we have to believe in the group and what we have and what we have done all year long and steal it in the game 3.”

Caroline’s last win in the conference finals was in Game 7 2006 against Buffal while driving a franchise in Lone Cup. Current Coach Rod Brind’amour was a captain of that team who scored the winner of the third period against Buffalo Sabljari.

Now Brind’amour will hope that he will run a turn in game 3, scheduled for Saturday from 8:00 pm.
