The police launched an investigation of a vessel that washed ashore to Eastern Caribbean Island This contained human remains at least 11 people in the advanced state of decay.
Royal Police Forces of St. Vincent and Grenadine (RSVGPF) announced that he had received a report on Monday at about 10:45 p.m. that a suspicious vessel along the Canouan Island was discovered near Little Bay and Cherry Hill.
Police officers from the Canouan Police Station replied and discovered remains of 11 people aboard.
Police said the boat was 45 feet long, 12 feet wide and 6 feet deep, and found in the area.

The remains of people on board were in what the police called the “advanced state of decay,” and some of the remains were not completely intact.
Investigators have taken several passports from the boat, which seems to be from West African countries Republic of Mali.
While the passports were recovered, the police did not officially identify any body, and the investigation remains ongoing.

RSVGPF said he cooperated closely with regional and international partners to confirm the origin of the ship and the identity of those on board.
Human remains have since been transported to St. investigative procedures.
“This incident is deeply worrying and we understand the public interest in the question,” the police said. “We assure you that RSVGPF treats this investigation with the greatest serious and sensitivity.”

The department added that it was dedicated to follow every lead and ensure that all the appropriate protocols follow.
The American State Department issued level 4, do not travel advisory for the country Mali in July 2023.
The explanation of a state department for not traveling to the country is due to crime, terrorism and abduction.
“Violent crime, such as abduction and armed robbery, is common in Mali. Violent crime is a special concern during local holidays and seasonal events in Bamak, its suburbs and Mali southern regions,” the counseling service said.

“Terrorist and armed groups continue to draw abductions and attacks in Mali,” adds advisory little. “They can attack with little or not at all warnings, aiming at nightclubs, hotels, restaurants, places for worship, international diplomatic missions and other locations visited by foreigners. The attacks can target the offices and infrastructure of the Mali Government, except for the locations visited by Westerners.”
