Hugh Jackman’s A longtime friend shares an update about how the actor treats divorce from his former Deborre-Lee Furness and her recent statement of “betrayal” in their 30-year marriage.
During his appearance at the Australian radio show “Ben Fordham Live”, Gus Warland, who said he was the best friend of Jackman since attending kindergarten together in 1973, he asked about the emotional statement he had announced after officially filed for a divorce from the 56-year “X-Men” star.
In his statement, Furness spoke of navigation on the “breakup of almost three decades of marriage” and “traumatic journey issues,” adding that “it is a deep wound that cuts deeply.”

The submission and comments of the Australian actress and comments came after the former couple announced their friendly separation after 27 years together in September 2023.
“It’s not just that statement, it’s only difficult for the last few years,” Warland said.

“No one wants anyone to go through what they have gone through, and of course, they all publicly go through the type of people and the glory they have,” he continued.
Warland explained that he knew both Jackman and Furness Even they named him the godfather to their first child, Oscar, 25 years. Emmy and Furness winner are also parents of daughters Ava, 19.
“One thing I was really strict or disciplined for – not only for me, but also a lot of other friends who love them both – is to let them do what they had to do,” Warland said.

“I was finished in New York with Jack just last month and he’s fine,” Warland said. “He’s going well. He’s going on with his life and I hope that will do so.”
“It is a long time, for a long time they have been together and have two beautiful children together, so I just go to the kids and leave, which we can do to make sure that it will be better through this.”

Furness officially filed for a divorce from Jackman in New York on Tuesday.
According to People, Furness’s lawyer also submitted submissions related to the settlement, covering the health care of the duet and the medical maintenance of children. The former couple tied the knot in 1996, when Jackman was 27 years old and Furness 40.

Furness said the main one had taken away from her its divorce is “that none of that is personal.”
“We are all on our individual travels and I believe that relationships in our lives are not accidental. We are drawn to people, we invite them inside, to learn our lessons and recognize and cure the broken parts of ourselves … I am still grateful,” Furness concluded.

In January, Jackman and his ex -husband “Music Man” Sutton Foster caused romantic rumors when they noticed them holding their hands as they went out for dinner at Los Angeles. Jackman played Conman Harold Hill while Foster played his love occupation by Marian Paroo at The Broadway Revival of the Musical, which lasted from February 2022 to January 2023.
