The Massachusetts Government Maura Healey on Sunday night led herself to social media to require answers after ICE agents arrested a and gymnasium A student heading for volleyball over the weekend.
Student, 18-year-old Marcelo Gomes, Junior is at Milford High School in Milford, Massachusetts.
In his post, Healey says she is “upset and bitter” and wants to answer immediately explain why the student is taken in at Detention for implementation of immigration.
“I demand that Ice provide direct information about why he was arrested, where and how his procedure is protected,” she is.

In the post, Trump’s administrator is to blame for what she describes as an attempt to create fear.
“Trump’s administration still creates fear in our communities and makes us less safe,” the post states.
In his statement, Healey claims that the student was detained on Saturday without any warning or subsequent explanation provided for by state officials.
“Still, local officials and law enforcement have been left in the dark without a head and no answer to their questions,” she said.
The community gathered to protest outside Milford on Sunday. Hundreds demanded that Gomes be released and that the ice stops harassing their community members.

American Ambassador Jake Auchincloss, Democrat representing Milford in Congress, attended a protest and noted at X that Gomes “entered in honor classes, a coaching helper for girls for girls [and] Volleyball player for boys and a school band member. ”

School District supervisor Milford Kevin Mcintyre says Gomes’ detention is one of the many concerns that take place in the community of southern Massachusetts.
Mcintyre says the district cannot take on any role in implementation of immigration, But they will “support all our students and families, including those who are immigrants to the United States.”

“They are members of the community, students in our classrooms, athletes who compete with Milford, musicians, artists, friends and neighbors. We will do everything in our power to support our students and families in those difficult times,” he said in his statement.
On Sunday morning, she graduated from Milford High School, and Healey says that the celebration day was now abolished.
“My heart goes out to the Milford community about what was supposed to be the celebratory day of graduation,” she said.
