While the firefighters continue to fight raging forest fires sweeping across five California counties, celebrities and residents of the Golden State are sharply criticizing government officials, including Gov. Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, for their lack of preparedness.
At least that’s what the local police reported 10 people were killedand as of Tuesday, the fire has destroyed more than 10,000 homes and buildings.
“If this was a business, every single person in the office would be fired,” Aurora Culpo, host of the “Barely Filtered” podcast, told Fox News Digital. “The fact that no one wants to take responsibility and admit to gross negligence only further proves the lack of true leadership we have in our state.”
Sarah Michelle Gellar, Patricia Heaton and Jillian Michaels are among other high-profile celebrities who have given government officials scathing criticism.

Culpo, originally from Rhode Island, is a Manhattan Beach resident who fled the area with her children on Thursday.
“This disaster didn’t come from the left,” Culpo said. “We were well aware of the possibility of a fire and we had the preparedness of a third world country in a place that pays some of the highest taxes in the world. Those in power should be forced to take responsibility and resign.”
She added that expectations of government officials should be “extremely high” and political accountability should be strictly enforced.
“Their lack of ability has cost lives, communities and billions of dollars,” Culpo said of both Governor Newsom and Bass.
“The captain will go down with the ship,” she said. “Resign.”

“I don’t really care if Newsom is a Republican or a Democrat, in this case,” she said. “Somehow, he deflects blame because he calls it a local problem.”
“What I put on my Instagram is that everybody who voted for Newsom for a second term has bloody hands and I stand by what I said,” Culpo said. “This is a blue state. If we can’t blame the Democratic Party, then who can we blame? If we can’t hold anyone accountable, then how do we think change should be made?”
The mother of two children added that she agrees with the newly elected president Donald Trump statement posted on Truth Social attributing the spread of wildfires to the “gross incompetence” of Bass and Newsom.
“I agree with him 100 percent,” she said.

Culpo said she is “all for the environment, conservation, LGBTQ rights and diversity,” but that safety, above all else, should remain a priority in the hierarchy of needs.
“We’re not yet a sophisticated enough society to worry about things like how diverse our firefighters are,” Culpo said.
“We finance sex change for prisoners, but we cannot fill the reservoirs, because we want to save smell the fish“, she said.
Since 2017, California has reportedly paid $4 million in taxpayer funds for trans inmate surgeries, including breast augmentation and facial feminization, according to California Family Counselor.

The Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta, California’s premier water supply system, is largely protected due to its depleting salmon and Chinook salmon populations.
“Regardless of what you think about prisoner gender changes or the smell of fish, the fact of the matter is that our priorities are completely wrong,” Culpo said.

Despite firefighters’ tireless efforts to extinguish the flames, some fires remain out of control, and Culpo is taking her children to San Francisco, where her sister, model and former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo, and her new husband, NFL running back Christian McCaffrey, are. staying.
“I’m worried about my kids because of the air quality,” Culpo said. “These are very serious pollutants in the air that can cause long-term problems.”
