Dutch premier resigns after far-right leader Wilders quits government

Dutch Prime Minister Dick Shuf announced his resignation a few hours after the far-principal leader, Gert Wilders, after his coalition government left.

After the emergency cabinet meeting on Tuesday, Shuf said he would resign but he planned to be in the care of the caretaker until a new election.

“I will continue continuously,” he said, “I am irresponsible and unnecessary” when condemning the Wilders’ move, “he said.

The Wailers pulled his Freedom Party out of the government just six months later, and the other three parties of the coalition refused to support his call for strict action to cut immigration.

In November 2021, the anti -Islamist Islamist got the highest votes in November 2021, sent shockwave through Europe. Later, his party joined the government for the first time.
