‘Duck Dynasty’ star Phil Robertson remembered for ‘extraordinary legacy’ after his death: ‘He will be missed’

Honored were poured on Sunday after passing the “Duck Dynasty” star Phil Robertson at the age of 79.

Robertson, known for its establishment of duck Commander Hunting Company, which became the focus of his A&E show, had previously fought against more health conditions, including Alzheimer’s disease.

“My father went with the Lord today!” One of his sons, Jase Robertson, wrote on X. “He will miss him, but we know that he is in good hands, and our family is good because God is very good! We will see him again!”

Korse Robertson wrote the daughter -in -law of TV personality: “Today we celebrate that our father, husband and grandfather Phil Robertson is now with the Lord.”

Robertson later founded Duck Commander in 1972. TV show “Duck Dynasty” Premiered 40 years later, in 2012, before ending in 2017.

He wrote “Duck Dynasty” x account: “We are sad when we hear about the passing of Phil Robertson, pioneer of the hunting industry and patriarch of the beloved family Robertson. Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time. We express our deepest condolences and respect their privacy as they grieve.”

The speaker of the house, Mike Johnson, R-L., Said after the death of Phil Robertson that he was grateful for the “extraordinary heritage of one of Louisiana’s favorite sons.”

“We pray for the Robertson family tonight and grateful for the extraordinary heritage of one of the favorite sons of Louisiane,” he wrote about X. “We cannot know this heavenly side of how many people influenced eternity in Philia’s life and service. (Rom 8: 38-39).”

“I’m sorry to hear Phil Robertson died,” she wrote. “Many prayers for his family. He shared his faithful journey in a movie called The Blind, one of the best.”

Greene referred to the movie 2023 about the life of Phil Robertson: “Blind – the true story of the Robertson family.”

“Phil Robertson was a living example of what God could do in all our lives if we follow Him,” wrote the Republican Government of Arkansas Sarah Huckabee Sanders. “It was a light light for the world. Bryan and I pray tonight for the whole Robertson crew.”

Former housing secretary and urban development Ben Carson and his wife Candy Carson wrote that “they were sad when they heard of the passing of Phil Robertson – a man of deep faith, a brave belief and an unwavering love for his family.”

“He was an American original that never gave up on the truth. His legacy of faith, family and freedom will live on,” Carsons wrote.

Several conservative hosts of Podcasta also touched the legacy of the “Duck Dynasty” star left.

“Phil Robertson was such a special man. In a few conversations I led with him, his love for Jesus was so great,” commentator Allie Beth Stuckey wrote. “I never tired him of listening to talking about sharing the gospel with Trump … Can we all live our lives with this kind of urgency!”

“Legends never die,” said commentator Benny Johnson, publishing a short clip of the late Robertson, who spoke at a gathering with President Donald Trump.

“Phil Robertson was one of the greats,” said commentator Graham Allen. “Rest in peace!”

Commentator Charlie Kirk said Phil Robertson was “an American icon and inspiring the hero to millions of Americans.”

Franklin Graham, President of the Samaritan Bags and Billy Graham Evangelical Association TV personality now “is in the presence of his master and savior.”

“Please join me in prayer for Miss Kay and the whole family Robertson while Phil Robertson passed away,” Graham wrote. “Now he is in the presence of his Lord and Savior. I always appreciated that Phil stood firmly with the Word of God and took every opportunity to discuss his faith in Jesus Christ.”

Phil Robertson and his wife Kay Robertson have been married since 1966. They had four sons and 16 grandchildren, as well as several great -grandchildren. Phil Robertson also had a daughter Phyllis from an extramarital affair.
