Davis (30-0, 28 KOs) did not explain why his fight was canceled. Tank’s message: “Fight is fucking cancelled.” Fans on social media greeted the cancellation with joy. They don’t want to see this albatross, especially since it’s on PPV. They see it as a mismatch, with the lightweight, super featherweight Roach (25-1, 10 KOs) standing no chance. This troubled fight has already been moved up from its original date of December 14th, and has been criticized by fans since day one.
