In a speech on Thursday in North Carolina to soldiers 82. Airline Division, The Secretary of the Defense of the Pete Hegsetth He advocated that he would renew what he called the US military “warrior Etos” and announced the raises to pay the paratroopers.
Speaking throughout American week at Fort Bragg, Hegsetth presented the vision of President Donald Trump focused on combat willingness, standards based on merit and investment in the US warrior.
“We’ll bring it back to the basics,” Hegsetth said. “We will return the ethos of the warriors … and we are through our formations, the standard that is set here every day.”
According to the Ministry of DefenseHegsetth took advantage of the opportunity to announce a salary increase in stimulus for dangerous duties, known as a salary jump. It will take $ 150 to $ 200 a month for parachutes, and for the first time Jumpmaster will receive an additional $ 150 with their existing salary.

In his remarks Hegsetth shared a basic defense strategy Promoted Trump: Priority a priority of readiness, reject identity policy and confirm American deterrent.
“We will focus on willingness, training, warfare, responsibility, standards. Black, white, male, female, we will not matter. We will be warriors based on colors and warriors based on merit, just as you are here at the age of 82.”
This return to the basics, Hegsetth claimed that it was necessary for the renewal of the force and distract the increasing global threat.
“President Trump is dedicated to historical investments within our formations. Our promise for you is that when 82. Air Force is allocated … you will be equipped better than any other combat in the world.”

By drawing contrast with previous administrations, Hegsetth referred to global instability, including war in Ukraine, a terrorist attack on October 7th to Israel and Withdrawing the US from Afghanistan.
“Unfortunately, over several years, the world watched and wondered where US leadership and US power was,” he said. “Putting America first, we will re -establish peace with power.”
Hegsetth closed himself, paying tribute to the heritage and the future of the age of 82.
