With early moves warming up to most of the 2026 home, Chairman of the Democratic Congress Campaign (DCCC) Donald Trump And the Republican majority in the home and Senate “do incredible damage to working families and our country.”
And with the GOP that defends Britvina majority in the middle of the middle year, Rev. Susan Delben, Dccc chair, noted, “We only need three more places.”
“We have 35 districts in the game throughout the country where we have opportunities,” Delbena said in a digital interview with Fox News last week in the state capital, pointing to the headquarters holding Republicans to which the DCCC goal.
“We are in the attack. We fight for the American people and the important questions they care about, and the Democrats are united in this.”

While the party in power after the presidential election – currently the GOP – is usually facing political winds and losing their seats in the next medium means, it seems that the ticket is 2026. favors the Republicans.
“The battlefield is really going on in our favor. There are 14 Democrats who won the places also wore Donald Trump. There are only three Republicans in the places that wore [former Vice President] Kamala Harris. So, it tells us that we will be on the attack, “said envoy Richard Hudson of North Carolina, the National Republican Congress Committee (NRCC), said Fox News Digital at the beginning of the 2026 cycle.
Delbene opposed that “the reason we have the possibility is that people are outraged, because they want to see how someone is coming to a duty who will fight for their communities, not just blindly loyal to the president.”
And pointing to a small house of snacks, Democrats pulled out of most GOP in the 2024 elections, she added that “these are the species of candidates who won our district in the last cycle. This is why we actually gained places in 2024 and is the absolute reason why we will return most of 2026.”
But Hudson noted that he had a powerful ally while working on the supervision of the house.
“The president understands that he has to keep most of the house in the middle, so he has a four -year runway instead of a two -year -old runway to bring the agenda,” Hudson said. “We are extremely useful and appreciate it.”
And Democrats are facing dilemma of dials, as the parties’ grades have so far sank to historical lowest in numerous national research.
Democrats’ ratings in the Fox News survey amounted to 41% favorable and 56% unfavorable in a study conducted from April 18 to April 21.

It’s all the time low for Democrats on Fox News polls. And for the first time in a decade, the position was lower than that GOP, which was 44% favorable and 54% unfavorable.
The data reversed last summer, when Fox News last asked the party’s favorable party in one of his polls.
But there is a silver lining for democrats.
The Fox News poll showed that the mid -election will be held today in 2026, 49% of voters supported the generic Democrats in its congress district, and 42% supported the generic Republican candidate.
Democrats also have another problem – the possibility of primary challenges against long and older legislators of homes in safe blue districts.
Recently elected Vice President of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) David Hogg Last month, he committed to spend millions of dollars through his external political group to support the basic challenges against what he called “sleeping on a car,” the Democrats of the house he claimed were not effective in pushing against Trump.
The move of the 25-year-old Hogg, the survivor’s shooting seven years ago at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in southern Florida, to spend money against colleagues Democrats, launched a fiery storm within the party.

But the dispute gives GOP ammunition.
In response to the quarrel of the Intrademocratic Party, NRCC spokesman Mike Marinella claimed: “No democrat is sure. The political earthquake is underway and the old guard fights.”
