The event will be shown live on PBV on Prime Video PPV. The undercard steals the show Some fans call the prize an undercard “Mexican Loma”, Jose ‘Raio’ Valenzuela defends against Gary Antoinette Russell in a fight that is interesting enough to be the main event on this card. As previously revealed, WBA light heavyweight champion Jose ‘Rayo’ Valenzuela (14-2, 9 KOs) will take on Gary Antoine Russell (17-1, 17 KOs) in the co-main event. Rayo is making the first defense of his newly won VBA belt that he wrested from Isaac Cruz on August 3 of last year. WBC light heavyweight champion Alberto Puello (22-0, 10 KO) persons mandatory Sandor Martin (42-3, 15 O) in a 12-round fight. Ioenis Tellez (19-0, 7 KOs) plays against a well-known 34-year-old veteran Julian Williams (29-4, 17 KOs) for the VBA interim junior middleweight title. This will be the first PPV fight of the PBC portion of the card on PPV. Spain’s Sandor Martin was a raw deal in his fight against Teofimo Lopez three years ago at Madison Square Garden in New York. He lost by split decision in 10 rounds in a fight that many boxing fans had him winning on December 10, 2022. The judges gave it to New Yorker, Theo, but the boxing public saw it as a good old hometown decision.
