Aubrey O’Day says she won’t be testifying at Diddy trial

In 2005, the 41-year-old singer got up to fame when she appeared on the Diddy MTV show “The Band Making” and became a member of the Danity Kane girl. On May 14, O’Day shared a post about her Instagram story that encouraged speculation that she would testify as a witness at a highly published federal trial in New York.

“Hey New York !!! Where do you think I should go first?” O’Day wrote in a video taken in Manhattan. Former Danity Kane member added emoji in balance, which is a common symbol of justice.

However, O’Day set a record during the appearance in the first episode of Podcasta “Amy Robach & ie Holmes present: Aubrey O’Day, which covered Diddy trial.”

“No, I’m not here to testify to the Diddy trial – which I know,” O’Day said when they were questioned by hosts Robach and Holmes.

However, O’Day claimed that government officials reached out to her trial.

“I posted on my Instagram that I was here in New York and I enjoyed it because I wanted to let everyone know that I was not a testimony here,” O’Day explained.

The Homeland Security Department (DHS) was a government agency that in March 2024 spent attacks on Diddy’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami.

Fox News Digital addressed DHS for comment.

When Holmes pointed out that Podcast was “exactly on the street where the trial was going on,” O’Day said, “I didn’t even understand that.”

“My heart comes out to all the victims, especially those who could have been spared, that anyone had understood these claims before,” she added.

“My sincere hope is that justice will prevail and to have further systemic changes within the music industry to prevent all forms of abuse from those in the position of power.”
