For Caroline Laubach, a test for a Wandercraft test is more than just trying out New technology. It is a refund of feelings of freedom and connection that many wheelchairs miss. The goal is to have disabled people with disabilities that they can use this exoskeleton to live their daily life in the world; I can definitely see that this is happening in the future.”

Personal mission becomes a global vision
Journey of Wandercraft started with a personal challenge. Nicolas Simon, a co-founder of the company, saw that members of their own family were struggling with mobility because of Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease, a genetic condition. As a student and lover of robotics, Simon wanted to create something that could help his brother and others like him to walk. In addition to Matthieu Masselin and Jean-Louis Constanza, who also had a personal connection with the cause, Simon founded Wandercraft 2012.
